At the heart of the Ross-shire Engineering service is the new 1430m2 fabrication complex in Muir of Ord – with separate stainless steel only and carbon and aluminium workshops. With a team of time served fabricators, coded welders and workshop facilities offering a totally flexible working environment.
Plant consists of computer controlled flame and plasma cutting machines, break press, punch, guillotine, radial
arm drill and welding positioning and manipulating equipment. Together with a machine shop that has CNC and manual laths, milling machines, horizontal borer – no job is outwith the fabrication team’s capabilities.
Working with the design team the fabrication facility can provide everything from a small fabrication to a penstock of a power station. The team also provides machining and metal spraying, on-site or in house refurbishment of mechanical machinery and installation of new equipment.
