Electrical EV Installer – Muir of Ord, Inverness & Cumbernauld

We are currently seeking an Electrical EV Installer to join our E&M department in Muir of Ord, Inverness & Cumbernauld. This is a full-time position. Your role will involve working within the E&M department. Focusing on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic Electrical Installations.

Day to day duties include (however are not limited to) installing EV charging systems at commercial / residential and industrial sites in Scotland also including general electrical installations and maintenance, testing, verification, and inspection.

You will be site-based, so a UK driving licence is crucial. The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Qualified electrician with a keen eye for quality (a renewable energy background is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided)
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship
• BS7671 18^th Edition wiring regulations
• Level 3 NVQ qualification in electrical installation
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2919-01 Level 3 award in Domestic Commercial and Industrial EVCP installation (training provided if required for the successful candidate)
• ECS gold card holder
• Good communication and IT skills
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Most importantly must be willing / adaptable to working within an energetic team environment, ability to think outside of the box
