What Are We Looking For
Our E&M team are looking for an Electrical Foreman to join us based out of either our Muir of Ord or Cumbernauld office on a permanent basis. Your role will involve performing regular site safety and quality audits, organising, and delivering the toolbox talks, and any other relevant communications to your site teams. You’ll also involve organising training, survey siteworks, prepare detailed MSRA, client liaising, ordering of materials, undertake competency assessments, site audits, apprentice training, programme updates, supervising subcontractors, complete reports/associated paperwork and organise/supervise the site work team.
Other duties will include measure up for materials, respond to emergencies and changes in the work programme, acquiring essential plant and equipment. Where appropriate, maintain van and tools in a clean and tidy condition. In the absence of a Site Manager, liaise on a day-to-day basis with other contractors engaged on site. Undertake all practical trade orientated work appropriate to the post holders own trades job description.
