RSE is a rapidly growing company with many exciting opportunities being created in the process. This position will be a valuable part of our Health & Safety team, which in turn works within our Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (QHSE) department.
Due to the wide spread of our sites and facilities across the country, the post holder would be working remotely on their own initiative for much of the time, however, must also be able to work well within a team environment. Within our team, we would like to work with someone who will make a difference and is willing to help develop programmes and campaigns that will add real value across our business.
The position will be based within our Muir of Ord office; however, the post holder may be required to regularly visit our facilities at Cumbernauld and Dalgety Bay, carry out site visits across Scotland, and occasionally help with visits to our sites in the North of England.
We cover many industries therefore all H&S professionals are welcome. Previous experience in the construction industry is essential however, and experience within the water industry is preferred. Continual training and development will be given throughout your time with us, however, potential candidates would also benefit from a sound knowledge of behavioural safety, previous training/presenting skills and have a keen interest in wellbeing practices.
The main duties of this role will be to conduct regular facility and construction site visits, report on any findings, help create any required improvement plans, and verify successful changes have been embedded. The successful candidate will also be required to help to maintain and improve our QHSE Management System, create and deliver campaigns and initiatives to improve awareness or competence within the company and finally, you will ensure you are available to help all other departments and projects on matters of Health, Safety or Wellbeing.
This position is for a 12 month duration, working 40 hours per week. Remuneration will be agreed dependant on the successful candidate’s knowledge and/or experience, and additional skills they may bring to the team.
