Trainee Accounts Assistant – Inverness

What Are We Looking For?

RSE is looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our Inverness office on a full time permanent basis. We are looking for someone to come and be part of our Accounts department while attending College to achieve their HND in Accounts. You will be based in our office up to 4 days per week and attending College on the other days which will be fully funded and supported by RSE. There are no barriers to progression with RSE, so beyond your initial training and development, our wider business can offer you a truly rewarding career.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• To ensure all accounts filing is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare/process BACS payments and prepare cheques for payment when required.
• To process employee and sub-contractor time sheets when required
• To process sub-contractor invoices/payments when required
• To provide timesheet input support as and when required
• Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.

What Do You Need?

• Strong IT skills essential
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
• A clear and concise communicator maintaining a polite and professional manner when dealing with Clients.
• Self-motivated attitude, and able to work on own initiative.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
