Our time lapse showcases the innovative delivery of a RSE Mega Modular Treatment Plant, recently delivered for Scottish Water and ESD.
The first TTU (Transportable Treatment Unit) that RSE commissioned was a single 12m x 3.6 m module for Sheildaig Water Treatment Works (WTW). Over recent years, we have worked to improve the design, material, fabrication and quality of these units to deliver an innovative approach to water treatment. We have now successfully installed a 12 module treatment plant that consists of 18m x 4.1m units and 4 roof modules. The works additionally has a fully integrated and sophisticated PROFIBUS network and SCADA system, of which has been entirely developed and installed in-house.
RSE have delivered over 20 WTW TTU’s throughout the UK to date, bringing significant improvements to water quality and a reduction in carbon emissions to these projects, thanks to the offsite fabrication, assembly, testing and pre-comissioning of the fully modular WTW in our factory.
RSE hopes to keep driving momentum in this space and strives to improve our TTU products and water treatment services to all water authorities throughout the UK.
Scottish Water have also produced this fantastic video below of the project featuring their Capital Delivery Director – Mark Dickson and MSP Kate Forbes.
