Northumbrian Water Filter Media Services Framework Awarded to RSE

RSE is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Northumbrian Water Group #NWG – Filter Media Services Framework which will be managed by our Filter Refurbishment Services business unit.

Over the next three years (with the potential for two further 12-month periods), within the scope of services, we will be supporting NWG, their delivery partners and Operational teams with works arising from the NWG Filter Media Inspection programme, involving Primary Filters, Rapid Gravity Filters, Pressure Filters, and Slow Sand Filters.

The works of the framework will require RSE teams to oversee filter media replacement, including the removal of spent filter media and replacements with new supplied filter media. Filter media top-ups and filter refurbishment will also be essential works, which may include replacing filter nozzles, cleaning underdrains and checks of the filter structures.

The Filter Media Services framework award aligns with our continued ambition to support NWG across the Northumbrian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water regions, further sustaining RSE’s strategic plan for continued growth across the UK by creating jobs and opportunities across the local communities which we serve.
