On Saturday 16th November, we were delighted to invite staff from our north locations to our very first RSE Family Fun Day fundraiser, held at Ross County Football Club in support of local charities.

The event was a great family day out for all ages, with a variety of exciting entertainment taking place throughout the afternoon for kids to enjoy, such as a rodeo, bouncy castles, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon animals and beat the goalie with Ross County FC players.

Fundraising for Highland Hospice and Maggie’s Highlands, there was something for everyone to enjoy with a tombola bingo, tug of war, massage sessions, and food and cocktails by Bubble and Goose also on offer.

Both kids and adult raffles were held on the day which were very well supported with some amazing prizes up for grabs, including a PlayStation 5, Smyths Toys vouchers, 2 weekend tickets to Belladrum music festival, iPad, 4 Landmark season tickets, Garmin Pro Watch, signed Stoltman Brothers t-shirt and a Samsung smart TV. RSE additionally held an online silent auction in the run-up to the event, taking bids for highly sought-after prizes including 2 tickets and accommodation to Oasis playing at Murrayfield stadium, Fourball at a championship course at Gleneagles and 2 hospitality tickets and accommodation to Liverpool vs Manchester United.

With the support of RSE, its staff, and the generosity of the wider local community, the RSE Family Fun Day was a great success, raising an incredible £15,381.37. RSE is proud to match fund this amount, to bring our grand total raised to £30,762.74!

With this amazing sum raised, we will be able to make a significant and meaningful impact to local Highland charities that provide invaluable support and care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses when they need it most.

As our very first RSE Family Fun Day, the committee behind the event are delighted that the day was such a success and look forward to planning future events to host across our UK-wide locations. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped in supporting the RSE Family Fun Day 2024.
