RSE is pleased to announce the appointment of Murray Tinning as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Murray brings a wealth of financial expertise, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC before accumulating eight years of senior finance experience at RBS in both Edinburgh and London.
Scheduled to commence his role in January 2024, Murray joins RSE from Enva, a prominent provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions across the UK and Ireland. Serving as Group Finance Director at Enva since early 2019, he played a pivotal role in the company’s significant growth, doubling in size during Exponent Private Equity’s ownership from 2017 to 2023. His tenure culminated in the successful sale to USA-based iSquared Capital in June 2023.
Executive Director, Iain MacGregor, commented on the new appointment:
Murray’s successful background as a finance leader positions him well to contribute to RSE’s financial strategy and success. His expertise and strategic vision will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s objectives, which comes at an important time in the RSE growth journey.
Murray Tinning also commented:
Having thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Enva and Exponent, I am delighted to be joining RSE at such an exciting time in its journey. The parallels with Enva’s story are clear and I look forward to working with the talented team at RSE to help them deliver on their goals.
